Nashville, Tennessee (2014) The City of Nashville, otherwise known to many as “Music City” welcomes over 11 million people yearly. Nashville is the place where music is written, recorded and performed every single day. Visitors come from all over the world to experience the music and all that the city has to offer. Finding points of interests just got easier with the addition of new wayfinding signs.
Nashville’s continued growth made it apparent that a comprehensive wayfinding program was needed to help visitors and residents maneuver around the city. Government officials hired Informing Design, Inc. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to create a wayfinding system that identifies landmarks around the city. GableSigns was selected to fabricate and install over 350 custom street marker signs throughout the streets of Nashville.

The City of Nashville is the Capital of Tennessee and is located on the Cumberland River in the north-central part of the state. Besides music, Nashville is also known for its healthcare, publishing, banking and the transportation industries.
